Time flies when you’re having fun!
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing this sweet girl for more than a year; first as her teacher, and now as her family’s photographer! Her brothers are so funny. Mom and Dad are sure lucky to have such beautiful and happy children.
What do you get when you put two rock star parents, a hip high schooler, a laid-back middle schooler, and a vivacious three-year old together? You get the G family! These guys were so much fun! Little dude gave me such a run for my money, but I think he really liked being photographed. He put on quite a show! Heheheh.
Some of my favorite clients paid me a visit for holiday photos. These girls are a treasure and the little man is getting SO BIG!

This month’s theme for the Photographer’s Circle is FAMILY. And so fitting for the month of November.
Families come in many different forms. I have family that is my blood, and I have my chosen family. There are a lot of truths that come with being part of any family though – those that share some DNA with you and those that you got to pick. Here are my own littles to demonstrate those truths…
Truth #1 – Your family loves you. They will hold your hand and help you through life when times get tough.
Truth #2 – Sometimes, your family will make you angry. They may push you down, trip you up, and make you scream and want to throw sticks at them.
Truth #3 – Sometimes, your family will laugh when you don’t feel so much like laughing. Just get back up, dust yourself off, and wait until it’s your turn to laugh.
Truth #4 – Sometimes, your family will embarrass you. You may want to crawl under a rock.
Truth #5 – When you need it most, your family will lift you up and give you what you need to make it all better.
If you have a family that even half those “truths” can apply to, you are one of the lucky, the blessed, the fortunate. Hug your family tight. Say “I love you,” and don’t be afraid to laugh at yourself when you can.
